Betamax or VHS? What to buy?
And Oooo! You can record your own programmes.
Christ, I feel ancient.
I was there at the birth of home video and computer games.
Where's meh slippers?
All I know is that I have the Star Wars Originals on VHS and i love them... they're by babies... :D
In fact, the porn industry have repeatedly shown themselves as the early adopters - pioneers of Flash on the internet and many of the extra features on DVD e.g. multiangle.
But come on, who else actually had a Betamax player?
>They've already had our '78's!
It was when they stopped stelling 8-tracks that my heart died forever...
If only they could have kept showing 'Convoy' in the cinemas, I would have known everything would have been alright 'good-buddy'
Back of Brussels!
They've already had our '78's!
Nooooooo!
:)
I've just downloaded about 19 MGS2 video's.... most of them are hilarious... i'll be buying the game for the comedy factor alone... the physics are cool....
Can I still say that? 'Cool'?
Nowadays it's all this 'Phat', 'Mint' and 'Ravin' crap... I mean who the hell thought these things up?!
Stupid school kids!... anyway...
That's enough moaning... The repeat of Coundown is one, and i'll be darned if i'm missing 16 to one...

Betmax was better quality, and had smaller tapes (you could only see one spool through the case). Apart from the marketing, VHS was also quite a bit cheaper.
And remote controls for both formats worked via a cable running between the VCR and the handset.
