Betamax is actualy still widely used but the Broadcasting Business, BBC, ITV, SKY, for the better quality recordings, have you ever taped something from the Telly, and the Video'd quality isn't as good as when you watched on TV, whereas when Sky One show the Same episode of the Simpsons over and over, the picture is always better.

How much were Betamax players over VHS ones anyway???

As for Betamax, yep, we had one and my parents have still got it in the spare room.

Dope doesn't just refer to cannabis though - used to be a wider term for all sorts of drugs.

How old is a "grown-up" though? Maybe you know the wrong grown-ups...

Occasionally they call people dopes, but even that's gone out of fashion!

I've never once heard a "Grown-up" use the word dope though. They always use marijuana or cannabis...
