It's okay I guess, but I had such high hopes, after you lot rabbited on about it, that it pales in significance to what I was expecting. It's not that good, the controls suck, the levels are designed well but confusing and it's very very fiddly.

Yeah, especially when you have to go through a couple of haunted rooms and then back through them again.

Chozo ghosts are a joke once you have the X-ray goggles; dont even start when you have the Phazon suit. With the goggles, you'll ending up chasing the ghosts not the other way round.

Agreed.
Once the Space Pirates got properly involved, I couldn't put the game down.
At first I thought the game was really bad, I liked the first Space station bit, but once I was on Talon I thought it was pants early on.

Agreed.
Once the Space Pirates got properly involved, I couldn't put the game down.
At first I thought the game was really bad, I liked the first Space station bit, but once I was on Talon I thought it was pants early on.

Haven't played this in a while - but I do know I haven't gotten to the bit you mention. I remember really enjoying the space station bit, but once getting down to the planet, finding there was something missing gameplay-wise. But it's refreshing news to hear that the game will start picking up soon.
I also remember I stopped playing because I was stuck. I had just gotten the boost ball from Phendrana Drifts, but then didn't know where to go. Any ideas?

I'm still in Choze ruins, and still nothing is happening. I'd rate it about 6/10 so far, as it has good level design.
First part of the Chozo ruins is pants.

Put the hints system on, it'll show you where to go.

Put the hints system on, it'll show you where to go.
Yeah hint system will help but beware, the hint system DOES tell you where the main objective is but there are often secrets and upgrades that it doesn't tell you (eg ice/wave spreader, x-ray goggles).
