So I ordered one from SR, with Mario Kart, and have been thinking about other games I might want.
Bomberman Tournament: I love Bomberman games, simple concept, and usually fun gameplay. I think I want this game!
Sonic: When Sonic arrives on the GBA I want it! I loved the original Sonic game, and haven't really played one since, as Nintendo pushed the Megadrive from it's prime slot before I played the others. This game also links up with the GAMECUBE Sonic Adventure 2 game, so that's another reason to get both of them.
Wario Land4: I love Wario. He's evil, and his laugh is cool. The original Wario Land was such a change from the Mario games, though so very similar! The whole idea behind it is just so funny, and he's a great character to play as.
Banjo: Grunty's Revenge: The Banjo games have been amongst Rare's best pieces of work, so it will be interesting to see how they take this game to a more basic platform, and can still capture the magic of the series.
Diddy Kong Pilot: You tilt you GBA to help turn the plane. I remember watching some people play games and they'd tilt the pad, or even their whole bodies, thinking it could help, and now it quite possibly can! Diddy Kong Racing was fun on the N64, so I don't see why Rare can't do it for the GBA, if Nintendo can successfully bring out a Mario Kart game, surely Rare can Diddy Kong.
There are other games I think I might want, but don't really know enough about them yet:
Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers: Another Rare title, this one a puzzler. Puzzle games are great handheld consoles, but puzzle games are either brilliant or dull. If reports say this one's brilliant, then I might just get it.
Sabrewulf; It's Rare again, and anything they do has to be taken into serious consideration!
Advance Wars: Everyone says it's great, I don't really know what it is. This game could sell to me on reputation alone, so I'll keep an eye on it.
That Kirby game: Did you see the video of Miyamoto tilting a GBA, and Kirby was rolling around on the TV screen, played through a GAMECUBE? When Kirby rolled off the screen, he flicked the GBA, and he flew back onto the screen. Looked cool, but migh tonly be as fun as those stupid cracker toys, with the little balls you have to try to roll through the maze, to get stuck into a little hole.
The thing is, I haven't really looked into which games I want yet, these titles have just sprung up at me, and could well be outstanding.
I'm glad of my little GBA.
Any other must have games I might want to consider?
Is the Banjo game set before the N64 original or in between Banjo Kazzoie and Banjo Tooie? I know it's not after the 2nd N64 installment.
Anyway....
> And you say you're 24? :D
And they be the games that appeal to me. :-D
Some might say tha makes me childish, but I don't care what other people think, I have fun. :-)
:¨()
I agree with you on most things...
I think GBA prices are a bit of a rip-off, so I choose my games carefully... I only have one... but when another game comes out, I might buy it... especially if it has a GC Link up option... I can't wait to experience that.
