POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was kidnapped in a carjacking incident and dumped at an industrial estate in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green.
The victim, an 18-year-old Asian man, was repairing his vehicle, a silver Citroen Saxo registration number Y172 AGH, at 8.45pm on Friday, May 23, when the attack occurred.
The man was in Eastwood Road, Seven Kings, when he was approached by two men.
One opened the front passenger door of the car and threatened the victim with a 12-inch kitchen knife while the other got into the back seat of the car.
After forcing the victim to drive up the road they searched him and stole a gold bracelet worth around £300, a gold chain worth around £200 and a mobile phone.
The pair then drove the man in his car to the industrial estate, throwing his trainers out of the window on the way.
The victim was then thrown out of his car at the estate and the pair drove off towards the Charlie Brown roundabout.
The first robber is described as around 5ft 9ins tall, black, of stocky build, and was wearing a grey hooded top and similarly coloured trousers.
The second robber is thought to be around 22, of medium build, with short hair, and was wearing a blue top and blue gloves.
