Did anyone else get this. I did, and although I haven't had the patience to sit down a long time with it, experimentation tells me this is very good. Lot's of options and stuff. Nice.

-It has over 12,000 riffs. There are loads of styles. Four main catergories, 'Drum' 'Harmony' 'Melody' and 'Vocal'. Each catergory has around 15 genres like Pop, Rock, Metal, Nu Metal, etc. Then each of these styles has sub catergories depending on which initial catergory you chose. For example: (Catergory | Style | Sub Catergory | Riff) and an example of this is (Drums (Catergory) | Metal (Style) | Snare (Sub Catergory) | Long Snare fill (Riff))

-Riff editor is alot better. You can edit a pre set riff, or make up your own. To do this you pick an intsrument from about 60, and then you can put notes in and set the length of the note etc. You can then put different instruments into the same riffs. Tis very good. There is loads more thats too confusing to expain.

-The control is alot better. You use the R stick to move around and then you press the stick down (R3) to select something.

-The video mode is very good. Like before you can get the game to generate one, but now you can also do simple animations, stills, etc. All of these can be edited, such as colour, multiple items at a time. It's better than MTV Music Generator.

If you have anymore questions just ask, but I can esure you, that if you liked the previous games then you are going to love this.

Oh and a bit on the USB sampler. It isn't available yet, but it will be soon at around £9.99. This takes the overall price of the game up to about £35, which is still cheaper than that of an average game. This sampler will allow you to take samples from any audio source, like CD players, Mini Disk, Computer (MP3), Vinyl (If you really must) and voices (Using a mic). You can then take these samples and edit them like other riffs. So for example, why not take a bit of Linkin Park, record yourself humming, let the game change your hum into notes on any instrument you like, and then mix it together with the Linkin Park riff. There are endless possibilities. :) I don't think you can take video clips though. Oh, and the old MTV Music Generator sampler does work with the game, but quality isn't supposed to be as good. :|

How's it in terms of the number of riffs and different styles and the movie section? I expect it'll have a fair many riffs as 2000 was on PSX and that had a shed load (+ rusty wheelbarrow outside)
