How many mission or how much money do u have to do before the other sections or other section apart from portland opens up?????

hehe, my bro did it first go, just crush the WHOLE mafia, was very funny to watch, has anyone do that mission from the phone box where you u have to flame 25 traids in 2 mins?, i have its a cool mission

Before the cars arrive, wait around the corner from luigi's club, and make sure your sitting in a car thats on its last legs (i.e smoking engine). Then when he gets in a car, drive round the corner as fast as you can, and run over a few gang members. Now repeatedly smash into Salvetores car until your car sets on fire. Drive in front of Salvetores car and block its path. Then hopefully his car will explode as well as yours.

Thats how I did it, it may have sounded highly skillful but it was PURE fluke!!!

how do you kill salvatore? I have tried and tried but he always gets away or the mafia guys kick my butt, any suggestions??

i;m back at boarding school now...
and i left my ps2 back at home (on purpose) cos gta 3 is too addictive

I got the game Friday morning. It was at home for me when I got back Friday evening, but I couldn't play it until Sunday night.

I thought I could get an hour or so of play in before I had to go out sunday night, however, the trains were all messed up at Waterloo, so I got back an hour late.

I played it for 5 mins and that's it!

It looks a fantastic game!

I can't wait to get home tonight and play it some more. Or maybe I'll take an extended lunch break....

Get a van!

I made the mistake of trying this in a car - back and forth all the time. Get a van (they're pretty nippy) and pick up several at once - that's the only way to do it. I got it at the 2nd attempt using a van.

I'm on the 2nd island too - got there yesterday evening.

This game is amazing! There's just SO much to do!

Have you got into the Patriot at the SupaSave? That gives you a checkpoint-based mini-game.

Or collected the cars for the Import/Export warehouse? That's great - nicking cars to order! SOme of them you can't get until you reach the other islands.

I'v done some taxi missions, one vigilante (police) mission, and did 12 in the fire engine (handbrake turn the fire truck round a corner, and crush people under the back wheels... :-)

I even parked under a bridge in a taxi and just listened to the radio for 10 minutes!

Saw a car I liked in a showroom (the Viper style car); whipped out my shotgun, blew out the glass and took it. Later I did the same by nicking a car on the front lot and reversing through the window.

Insane Stunt bonus? Try hitting the ramp at the docks in a Stallion at full speed, and leap the truck trailers...

And once you get to the other islands, you get different vehicles, and trucks on the road.

Absolutely awesome game. And now I'm stuck at work again. :-(

i think its every 5 i have base ball bat and pistol i have saved 13 but got twenty got wasted loaded my other save up and lots the rest now i cant find them so 13

you have to do ALL the missions (including side ones)
get all 100 packages
to get 100%
(and i think possibly have to get to a certain standard in the taxi, ambulance, firetruck and police missions too but i'm not sure)

if you get the secret packages.....you get extra stuff for every ten you get.....i've heard
