what, in your opinion, is the best new idea to be put into a game (old or new) that really makes it stand out.

and what would you like to see in future games.

... I get to board if I'm playing a game on my own, it's more fun beating your mates, and less embarasing lossing to them rather than a computer chip...

Multi-playing, either on one console, two consoles linked, or over the net, it maybe old, but I'm glad it came about.
