I was in my local Virgin Megastores on Friday and played both GTA3 and Time Crisis 2. The thing that really shook me up what the quality of the graphics and gameplay of GTA3.
So I had a look on the SR website to see what package offers there are and the GT3 Fire Pack sounds the best value (259.99 or 286.96 seperately).
But what I was wondering was is it worth getting now (are there more AAA titles on the way pretty soon) or shall I wait another couple of months????

I was doubtful, then believed the hype and STILL, the game surpassed my expectations. I'll tell you now, though the graphics aren't at all bad, this game is 100% playability!

And think of all the cool games coming out in the next 2 months. And remember GTA3, GT3 and the titles that cam out earlier this year
Its is certainly worth getting a PS2 now more than ever, there have been many really good games released recently and many more to come in the run up to Christmas, and next year.
The price drop to persuade you to get it even more, think what you are getting for £200! A dvd, PS1 & 2, a regular CD player and if you have a Minidisk with a digital cable you can use it to record on.
Its really worth getting one now!!
