I finally managed to get hold of a copy of Final Fantasy VII for my PS2 yesterday (second-hand) and then had to go back into town later to buy a PSone memory card!
Anyway, just a little thing I noticed - when you go on the train for the second time (this is right near the start of the game), and the business bloke says something which stirs Barret, notice that first he says he won't be scared by violence and then says I'm not either. The blank is covered by a voice box when Tifa interrupts. Anyone reckon it says 'gay'?
And yes, I'm afraid you can expect more pointless posts like this about the game as I progress!

ok, just found out there are two versions one on 1 dvd and one on 3 dvd's. it's a japan exclusive though the 3 dvd version just has higher quality movies.
anyone know how many dvd's final fantasy 10 will be as i've heard its 3 dvd's big. if so it must be huge can any one confirm this?

Lets hope the resident evil movie is much better as PSM2 say that it has a few good scenes from the games like the train scene near the ending of Resident Evil 2 and many others.
the only thing remotely similar about final fantasy the games and FF the movie was the name and that is all. that's why the movie bombed it wasn't anything like the Final Fantasy games something which all movie makers seem to do. make a film that's supposed based on a game but doesn't have any of the actual game characteristics about it.
the final fantasy movie was disappointing although the graphics were very good, it would have be a massive hit if only they had used a enhanced version of the final fantasy 7 story.
