I hate to sya it, but I think that FFX doesn't compare to the likes of FF9 and 7, I mean it failed to involve me as much as the others and i hate to say it but even 8 is better.
I'll leave it to Beanz, but basically you can now enter mini tournaments and leagues and there are prizes and some rare items tyo be won. The only secret you can unlock from playing Blitzball is Wakka's best weapon.
no you don't get to play that particular match again...
but once you get to your next save point you should be able to play blitzball whenever you want (activated at the savepoint)

what's this "the end" thing...i don't remember that. i do remember whipping Omega weapon but i did need to use some invicibility potions which i got from the card game...and used squall's best limit break (whose name i can't remember)

not really....if you win you get some sphere (not a very important one either such as a fortune sphere)
