The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

When do you get to travel on your own then? and do you just get to the game arena place when you keep going on your travels?

You're probebly just not far enough in the game.
You have to have beaten Yunalesca and have the airship. And probably have visited the highbridge again too.
If they're still not there try doing all the other stuff first. You'd not be able to beat any of them if you're not exteamely powerful anyway (or very lucky)

Valefor - Besaid village.
Ifrit - Desert, near Home entrance. There's a woman that asks you to find her child. Go to the crater in the background twice to find Ifrit
Ixion - Thunder Plains. In the 2nd screen, talk to the bloke under the conductor. After defeating Ixion once, you have to fight him again, but he can't counter this time.
Shiva - macalania temple (the ice one) go up to the entarnce to fight her. She's damn fast. Afterwards guado guardians will some out the temple likle before. Run like hell (they're easy albeit annoying)
Bahmut - In the place where you fight Yunalesca. No catches, justa straight fight.
Anima - go into Mt Gaznaget (sp?) and do the challenge where you throw Wakka's ball into the gaps in the spinning thing. She'll then appear at the entrance to the mountain where all the Ronso's hang about.
Yojimbo - go to the save point at the back of the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. You have to follow and beat him 5 consecutive times to win.
(make sure to go staight on instead of down when you can or you'll miss the 3rd fight in the brached-off cavern and won't be able to ein.
Magus sisters - start of Musroom Rock Road.
After defeating them all, Penance will appear int he calm lands (not so calm no more) select him on the Airship destination list to fight.

ok sure ill give it a shot m8 The only problem is that half the time my Anima does around 60 to 70-000 damage on a good day ( i.e. 5000-6000 per punch in combo ) while others he does a hella of alot more than that or it may just seem that way ? anyways how much hp does dark valfore have ? about 500,000 so i dno if Anima ol crack it or even the magus sisters...poo..... thanks anyway

Use Anima's Oblivion and you will finish Dark Valeford in one hit. Simple, its easy and fast.
