Reasons i like Disgaea are the great gameplay, 2D sprite graphics which i absolutely love and would take over all the 'realistic' graphics engines anyday, the fact that technically the game is never ending, the huge customisation options for your party and the funny story with the likeable characters.
I wuv FFIX. Would never dream of selling any of the FF's, even FF VI...
Anyhoo, Disgaea is fantastic. 2D graphics are ridiculously better than FFX's visuals, and the effects are fantastic. Also has a huge lifespan (level up to 180,000) and a fairly decent range of characters. Story is good, but relatively short...
