I think instead of a sequal as a movie, why not a video game? The its more interacitve and we can play as our favorite characters from the old FF7. And if Square wanted to make some money with this idea, they could release FF7 and what happened before they joined together to make Avalanche and destroyed the Mako Reactor. Oh, that was gaming at its best, i love Final Fantasy.
Still feeling rather tepid about Advent Children, especially after the horror that was Final Fantasy : The Movie.

I've read around a bit, and everything's still speculation.
Although for E3, Square are going to make announcements about all new games and FF stuff.
There's going to be a special edition DVD of Advent Children, and apparently Square have a 'major announcement' to make about it. Hmmm ...

As for the HD, it's already been released in Japan and the US, along with FFXI. Plans for a Euro release were scrapped rather quickly.

I think when FFXI didnt come out on the PS2, it was the beginning of the end.
Whats happened with the planned hard drive for the PS2, i'm still hoping that if that turns up we might yet get FF XI although unlikely.
i can't wait for final fantasy 12, anyone know when its out?
