Is it worth getting? What would you give it out of ten? What's it like?

The framerate's fine, no slowdown at all, even when the sh-t hits the fan in 4 player co-op mode.

Completed this other day, it's a suprb game. Hilghly recommended and stuff..

i wouldnt say the textures and framerate is superb....

Read the post, it seems the main improvements are better AI, frame rate, draw distance, and a few control improvements (character response time, speed of movement etc.).

There are indeed a lot of improvements, and it makes the Gamecube version sound very appealing, so it might be worth the extra cash and persevering with a control pad as opposed to mouse.

At the same time, some things I've read when trying to compare them have put me off the game slightly, so what's out at the minute that would be a better choice?

(No Skies, Zelda or Metorid for me though)
