This topic came to me today when i was going back and playing iss pro evolution on my ps1. the first 2 games in the master league went fine a 2-0 win over london and a 2-1 win over barcelona. tehn suddenly my console developed a brain lapse. every time the opposition played a through ball just as i went to intercept it the computer suddenly changes my character about 10 yards away from the ball and then they scored. a simple mistake i thought it couldn't happen again but it did over and over and over. it started creeping into my attack as well the passes were either too short or too long and my players always seemed to trip before starting running. in the end i chucked my controller down removed the game and slapped gran turismo 2 in and had a couple endurance races round trial mountain that calmed me down a treat.
so have you ever got angry with a game and what were the consequences, broken playstation, controller snapped in 2, cat getting kicked or your brother getting his leg broken?

I once broke a telephone by "dropping" it, horizontally into a wall!
But that was women trouble, which is a whole other kettle of gaming.

BTW my mum still thinks it was knocked off the table by the dog, so keep it under your hat, yeah?

Oh, its gone now. It only took a few weeks of counciling and a session with a Psychotherapist/ Voodoo priest.

Then I had some vertabrae removed and the nervous twitch just went! As did use of my limbs, but thats another story....

I occasionally say "Grrrrr" when things don't go my way on games. Depends on the title.

However, I used to regularly get a SNES pad thrown/ swung at my head when playing my older brother on Street Fighter 2.

After a while I developed a nervous twitch and ducked upon winning a SF2 bout. Problem being, I did this all the time, no matter who I was fighting. I think people thought I was pretty weird, but perhaps they don't realise just how much being whacked on the head with a SNES pad hurts.
