The "Freeola Customer Forum" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
I thought I would check to see if the forum niggles that we discussed in this thread back in April are sorted. You mentioned they were 'simples' but I caught you just as you were leaving for your hols!
It's easy to lose this things as time goes on when they are buried in different topics, hence this post :¬)
>>Back Slashes
The forum removes backslashes like this: >> << when the post is submitted.
>>User Profile Links
It would be nice if external links to customers websites opened in a 'new window/tab' so that you aren't taken away from the Freeola website.
>>Post Time Stamps
It would make sense if the posted and edited time stamps were in the same format.
i.e. 'Edited' time stamp is in 24 hour format , the 'posted' time isn't.

Quoted Links [resolved]
When users quote a previous post that contains links they are split over two lines.
Here's a test: freeola broadband speeds
EDIT: It looks like this issue has been resolved!
...along with Warhunt's suggestion of putting the OP username in bold etc.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] When visiting websites listed in users profiles could you change these links to open in a 'new window' ?
This would be similar to how your other links to external sites works.
Thanks.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] I know this isn't the major issue, quotations are. I hate the old school >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> use of "greater than" signs.
For completeness here's the post where you mentioned sorting out the 'stripslashes' problem.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] So I am afraid it most definitely is on the list, but most definitely not as important as InstantPro upgrades/fixes, and "other stuff".
Thanks for keeping on top of me though ^__^

[s]Hmmm...[/s]TESTING
The back slash is still a problem, and the above shows that links are still split.
Worth sorting when you have a moment :¬)
Thanks.
