Offending retailers and importers will not only be barred from importing Nintendo hardware and software - they will also be inhibited from selling Nintendo products in the future. Another way to help stop this movement of products would of course be for Nintendo to release products in Europe at the same time as they do in America and Japan, thus removing the demand that such illicit supply fulfils."
Oh for fecks sake Nintendo.
Say bye bye to CA games Afro Joe.......
Cool.
I'm not bothered. Good move, I say.
Ebay.
Probably cheaper than going to importers too, and Nintendo can't stop individuals buying games from the US (though would prolly be hard to get Jap games, as shipping & language barrier would probly be a bit of a beeatch)
And the new joint public enemy number one is... Nintendo!
I have a few Australian imports as well.
It's more hassle, but I can easily send money away to my g/f and have her send the game back.
> Well it is now considered illegal. SO DON'T DO IT!
So if this had been brought in earlier then I would have missed out on the greatest sports game of all time so YES I think I will continue to do it.
Nintendo realy know how to improve public relations.
> Well it is now considered illegal. SO DON'T DO IT!
When's it ever been illegal to buy stuff that comes from America?
Everyone does it everyday.
All that work that they put into the Freeloader and nobodies gonna buy it now!
And for the people who did buy it, what a waste of money.
Hopefully Nintendo will explain why, or someone could email them.
