Nah, not if the modem's got an Ethernet port. No need to route it through the PC....as far as I know
If you do though then fook Xbox live.

You will need to run it into a seperate Hub or through your PC I think. I don't think Xbox LIVE can connect you to the internet, don't you need to be connected first through an IRC connection?
