Have any of you guys/gals done work experience in year 10, i have mine comming up in a few weeks, i am working in an office with my own computer, Phone, Fax and photocopier...
What did you lot do, Was it any good???

I did my year 10 work experience at a farm shop. I just sat around listening to Radio 1, served a few customers and cleaned out the rabbit hutches.

I did my year 12 experience as a reporter at a newspaper- now THAT is work experience. Most companies don't want to take on Year 10 work experience as they think you will be too much trouble/ mess around/ steal money!

No we put down what sort of job we would like and he will try and match us up with something like it...

You cheeky sod! There weren't any cinemas on the form for us. :'(

I had a great time working at the cinema for my work experience, years ago mind! Was able to watch movies all week and help myself to food/sweets/drink!

Do you guys not have to sort out your own work placements? In my school, come to think of in every school here its up to you to sort your placement. I did 2 weeks in a leisure centre. Got a free years membership worth 600 quid at the end of it!
