I dont know what to do with my dreamcast, i got an xbox for christmas and my dreamcast has just been sitting under my bed since then...
I dont want to sell it because i knkow i might play on it in a few years time...
but it seems a wast just to have it sitting there with 4 controllers, about 35 games, controller extenders and a keyboard...
And there is no way i am selling it to a shop because they only offer you about £20 for the whole lot...
And i know it is worth a whole lot more then that...
Som what do you recon i should do, i am thinking about just keeping it...

Yes you should keep it. I never sell consoles and only occasionally games.

#1 What would you do if your Xbox broke? You need good games to play.
#2 Sods law dictates that if you sell it then you will suddnely want to try something on one of the games.
#3 Every so often you have urges to play a game. If you no longer have that game it hurts.
#4 Multiplayer. Sometimes you just need a classic. Goldeneye is still the multiplayer of choice for when certain mates come round.
#5 You likely still have some stuff to complete in some games. When you get bored of your Xbox or do not have any challenges left in some of its games then go back and finish the DC games. Recently I decided to go back and attempt to get some of the cheats I missed out on getting in The World Is Not Enough on the N64. But previously it had just sat in my gaming cabinet.

So do not get rid of it all. It means too much to you and you won't realise that until it is too late. And any money you get won't be enough to make up for it.

Yes keep it. I sold mine a few years ago to get a ps2. I want to get one back now, with games like shenmue and msr, it's easy to see why i want it back. It's certainly a console which is good to have for wen ure mates come round.

No, don't listen to them.

Sell it.

£20 is a great price.

I'm looking for a DC, will offer £25 if anyone is interested.

;c)

Nah, keep it, or sell it to me.

If you have 35 not-copied games, chances are some of them will be worth a pretty penny in the not too distant future, so hang on to them!

You'd get about £100 for that lot of you trade it into a decent place such as a CEX or somewhere. If you trade it into Game you'll get about £15

It depends as to what the games are, if they are rubbish like Chu Chu Rocket, you'd be lucky to get £1 for them but if you have some decent ones like Shenmue etc you should get a decent amount.

Providing the games are legit and in good condition, you'd probably get around £105 from Game (providing they still accept them).

The console you probably wouldn't get much for.

Chu Chu Rocket you probably wouldn't get anything for - most copies were given away with a Dreamcast and aren't for resale.
