I think they should just stick with the name Dolphin. But what are some other things they could call it? I believe it should be called The Machine If dolphin doesn't stick

u know, a few days before the consoles unveiling, there were rumours about that it would be called "what it looks like, and what it does".

Starcube was a popular sugestion: Starroad being a level in mario... it would indicate online functions. cool!

I think the GameCube was code named "dolphin" because of this.

The main proccesor inside the GameCube is called "Gecko" maybe thats why it was code named dolphin? Who knows? Only Nintendo.

The N64 was called, project reality ha ha what fool thought that up.

Sony: PS3
MS: Ybox
Sega: Jupitor? (afetr saturn). Dural? Dreamvision?

Dolphin is just a code name.

Why would they want to call it Dolphin, what a stupid name that would be, youve got the NES SNES N64 and youve got the Dolphin hmmmmm dont sound right really.

gamecube describes what the console is shaped like and of course what it does.

gamecube is much better!

yeah i agree "the machine" is a great name for the new console.
