Mine was AQA, paper 1 was the media exam. We had an extract from Jamie Oliver's book! Hurray!
Anyways, today I ended up with Section A: Part 1 about the poet we've been studying (Carol Ann Duffy for me), Part 2 a question on poems from other cultures and traditions.
Goddamn I hate poetry.
Section B was writing to inform, explain or describe.
I chose to answer "Explain why you spend your free time doing what you do".
3½ pages just to freakin' say I do what I do because I enjoy it.

I had 'Poems from other cultures' and 'Ted Hughes' on the first part - then free writing (describe/explain/inform) - the latter part was alright but the first I really struggled with.
