i know that gta3 is a really good game and i will be getting it, like many other people here, but why does every say things like oooh i saw a box for it, i mean wow, what an experience. why can't people talk about other games that are coming out soon, isn't smugglers run 2, out on friday as well, i haven't seen anyone talk about that yet.

that's gotta be the stupidest thing channel 4 have ever done. i mean they can show a show bout abusing kids yet they can't show a game show with some paintballing guns. what do they think will happen bin laden starts sending paint through the mail or something? i wouldn't be offending by it cause i can see it's some harmless fun...........oh wait i gotta go i'm gonna go on a rampage with my emulsifier and emulsify everyone in sight hahahahaha

The concern was that GTA3 may be delayed due to recent events and a general crackdown on anything remotely anti-social.
I mean, Channel 4 have just cancelled X-Fire - televised paintball - until the spring, due to the impending ground war in Afghanistan. If they can cancel that, then who knows what may happen to violent games?!
So, much of the concern is simply because it's a game almost everyone wants, and which *may* have been delayed indefinitely for only the most tenuous of reasons. Look on it as an outpouring of relief!
