Not played any for a while, though i loved these type of games, and im wanting a new one.

Basicly, im after any suggestions. Im wanting one thats more based on modern war technology, ive looked at Sudden Strike, but just wondered what you lot think.

Not in a rush to order, so im open to all suggestions.

Cheers.

There are a lot of levels- an expansion, Morecraft, has 20,000 extra levels. It's a pretty minor release, but you should be able to find it with a load of other crappy CDs at The Works shops- and they also sell an unofficial Age of Empires Expansion, Conquests of The Ages- which is pretty good.

Warcraft 3 is a pretty big game, and I'd say you'll be about half way through when you complete the Undead campaign. You can't choose what race you want to play though, but if I remember correctly the campaign order goes, Human, Undead, Orc and Elves.

Also, have you found the secret mini games yet, they're quite fun.

And what brilliant games they are.

Currently playing warcraft the most at the moment, mainly because my mouse hasnt arrived for my laptop which makes American Conquest a little hard to play, cant move fast enough which isnt the best thing when you have a thousand indians shooting arrows at you, and then going into a panic as all my men are left dead as i couldnt give them orders...so they stand there gormless before decking it to the floor.

None the less, i really like both of them.

Anyone know how big these games are, roughly how long it takes to finish them?

Currently on Warcraft im on the Undead parts just taking over the elves village and needing to collect 3 stones, it keeps dictating which race i play as...does there come a point where i can choose which i want to follow on as? Or is this the way of the game?

Anyway...back to war!
