That is all.
Every other type of magazine has articles and points of view on subjects, but what do gamers get? Some old news, 20 page reviews, a help page and a letters page. Woooo.
Edge analyse the industry, they don't suck up to it.
They remind me of english teachers; they don't want to enjoy a good book, they want to anylise it line by line and explore every possible avenue. It's no wonder they don't sodding enjoy any of the games they play.
Bunch of miserable barst*rds.

Pity how they give all the rest of the games 70% then, isn't it?

NGC are notoriously harsh.

NGC. Well written. Good length.
Multi-format
I believe the rest all rank games extremely high just so the publishers keep sending them free games. In NGC, NOM and Cube, the average score is about 7, which isn't in the middle at all.
Edge are fair, and the only reason more people don't like it is because it contrasts with what THEY believe a game should get - they don't want 'Mindless Shoot 'em Up 6 - Guns, Gunz, Girls' to get a 4 after all the hype it got.
Bah.
Never mind
But that's dead, so
