Yeah you read it right:( wipeout fusion has been delayed until 2002, such a shame, sony say its because they want the game to be perfect, but considering this has slipped so many times it hasn't come as that much of a shock to me, i was really looking forward to this as well, i hope it see's the light of day

Thsi is the worst deisplay from Sony that I have seen. Studio Liverpool, should also be more considerate. I mean...it was due for a release during Feb 2001, and now it's been delayed even longer...about 1 year longer. I too, was also very excited about Wipeout Fusion's release for the PlayStation 2. It hurts to see this game delayed for a second time now.
My only hope is that Sony, and of course Studio Liverpool reconsider the release date. There is no such thing as a perfect game...it's what you make of it that counts...Sony must realise that.

I think it`d be more sensible to release it a couple of weeks before X-Box.
There is a rumour that Wipeout Fusion will be released March because of the Uk launch of the xbox in the same month so as to convince consumers to get the PS2 instead of an xbox, Im sure it boost Ps2 sales.

Im not too upset about Wipeout Fusion being delayed - To be honest its a bit of relief!! There are so many quality titles coming out around christmas I dont think it will be missed for long!!
