These songs by Afroman and DJ ÷tzi are popular because people can remember the tune and words when they are drunk ! When you are stumbling round town with your mates, You do not sing the words of the latest Manic Street Preachers song because you cannot remember all of them. Because I got high is popular. It is a ìPopî song and is in the charts because of that. Since when has the Top 40 actually been about good music, whatever your taste. It is only an indicator about what is popular. Unfortunately, it does mean that you have to listen to it endless times on Radio 1.

well i try not to watch much mtv the only thing i do watch is the mtv base channel and that's it there's too much teeny bopper rubbish on MTV
