Match 1 - Cyrus & Jerry Lynn Vs Christian York & Joey Matthews.
Before the match even got underway, the Baldies came out and pummelled Christian and Joey. This went on for a few minutes until their real opponents Cyrus and Jerry Lynn came out and took over. Then Jerry Lynn, who was not even dressed in wrestling attire, nailed Matthews with a devastating Cradle Piledriver. The Baldies then stopped Christian York from stopping the pin while Cyrus made the cover for the 3 count and the victory. After the match Jerry Lynn grabbed the microphone, swore a lot and claimed he would only wrestle in main events in the future.
Winners: Cyrus & Jerry Lynn.
Match 2 ñ ECW World Tag Team Championship match ñ Danny Doring & Roadkill (champions) Vs Hot Commodity ñ Julio Dinero & EZ Money with Elektra and Chris Hamrick.
The match got under way with Julio Dinero Vs Doring. This match featured some great ring work and some highflying spots too. This match lasted way to long but as I said had some enjoyable spots. There were some good moves in this match including super kicks, hip tosses, front slams, elbow drops and a comedic moment that was enjoyable. Dinero and EZ money gained the early advantage with some great high dives. EZ Money landed a great moonsault although he barley just hit his opponent. But not even the moonsault could change the outcome as Doring and Roadkill landed a perfect Buggy Bang to retain there titles and pick up the victory.
Winners: Danny Doring & Roadkill
Match 3 ñ Nova Vs Chris Hamrick.
This match was maybe the worst match of the night. It was sloppy in places although Nova and Hamrick hit a great looking top rope Huracanrana and a spring board dropkick. To make things worse the ending was totally perplexing. Lou E. Dangerously and Chris Chetti (wearing referee attire) put in a appearance, swiftly followed by Little Spike Dudley. Chetti fought with Nova and Spike, and then Nova nailed Hamrick with the Kryptonite Krunch and Spike counted the 3 count. So, I guess Nova beat Hamrick.
Winner: Nova.
Match 4 ñ ìI Quit Matchî ñ Tommy Dreamer Vs C.W. Anderson.
This was Tommy Dreamerís best singles outing in years. Tommy and Anderson exchanged tons of amazingly smooth and entertaining garbage wrestling spots, involving chairs, tables and other objects. In the end, Dreamer blasted C.W. With a Spicolli Driver of the 2nd rope through a table and then tightly ñ wrapped the microphone cord around his skull. Anderson immediately yelled those 2 little words ìI Quitî. Afterwards, Dreamer and Anderson shook hands.
Winner: Tommy dreamer.
Match 5 ñ No 1 contenders 3 way dance match ñ Yoshihiro Tajiri & Mikey Whipwreck Vs Super Crazy & kid Kash Vs Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke with Big Sal.
The Match got off to a poor start when Kash fluffed a springboard, but they managed to recover and land some spectacular moves, including psycho dives by Crazy and kash. Crazy and Kash were first out when the 600 pound Sal E. Graziano blasted Kash with a titanic splash and Tony Mamaluke pinned him. Following more hot action, Tajiri and Whipwreck went over via double pin when Tajiri nailed Guido with a German suplex and Whipwreck caught Mamaluke with a cross- arm German suplex.
Winners: Tajiri & Mikey Whipwreck.
Match 6 ñ Simon Diamond & Swinger with Dawn Marie Vs Chilly Willy & Balls Mahoney.
Simon Diamond and Swinger and Balls Mahoney and Chilly Willy played human skittles next. With less than a minute gone, Rhino sprinted in a Gored Mahoney, Diamond, Swinger, Willy and Dawn Marie. Rhinoís rampage ended when he blasted Jasmin St. Claire with a devastating piledriver from the middle rope.
Winners: No Contest.
Match 7 ñ Tables, Ladders, Chairs And Kaneís 3 way dance ECW World Heavyweight Championship Match ñ Sandman Vs Steve Corino (Champ) Vs Justin Credible.
The Sandman captured the ECW World Title for the 4th time in a poor match. The match featured one good spot where the Sandman was pushed of the ladder through a table on the outside but that was all. The Sandman ended this terrible match when he pushed Justin Credible and Steve Corino of the ladder and through a table, he then grabbed the belt that was hanging up above and became the new ECW Champion.
Winner: Sandman.
Match 8 ñ ECW World Heavyweight Championship match Rhino Vs Sandman.
Although The Sandman had just won the ECW title, he didnít leave the ring with his title. Rhino made his second appearance of the night by Goring him to the mat. He then persuaded the Sandman to defend his title or his family would get a beating. The Sandman decided to defend his title. Rhino destroyed the new champion by Goring him through a table and piledriving him off the apron, onto and through a second table. Finally, Rhino executed another piledriver for the pinfall. Rhino was the new World Champion!
Winner: Rhino.
Match 9 ñ Rob Van Dam Vs Jerry Lynn.
Though passable, this couldnít compare to previous Van Dam Vs Lynn encounters. Messy in spots, partially due to RVDís ring rust, it was a 19-minute disappointment. Rob Van Dam hit a nasty ñ looking Van Terminator, with help from Joel Gertner, to take the pin and the victory.
Winner: Rob Van Dam.
This was a great event that all wrestling fans should buy.
