Finally got a weekend in Dublin booked and flights sorted.

Ryanair do cheapish flights if you book quite early and travel on the right days.
Dublin isn't cheap as all the folk I know who have been have told me but the hotel we are going to was about £40 a night and has been recommended by a few people.
