Special Reserve Discount Network member ‘The Craziest Col’ today shocked Spanish football by throwing his name into the hat for the Barcelona Presidency.
The contest was previously thought to be between long-time favourite Lluis Bassat, and the man that promised to bring David Beckham to the Nou Camp, Joan Laporta. With ‘The Craziest Col’ throwing his hat into the ring these two candidates are said to be worried, and believe that it could also give one of the other candidates a way back into the fight.
Outgoing President Joan Gaspart was eager to speak on these shocking revelations. “What we have in The Craziest Col is a candidate who can offer what none of the others can. A hard-disk full of porn. Not only would this benefit the players here at Barcelona, it would also benefit the fans, as Col would surely be keen to share.”
Laporta, however, refuses to be beaten so easily. “Well if I win the Presidency, not only will I get Beckham to play for us, I will also get Victoria to pose nude at half time, for every single game.”
