"Who's getting an Eyetoy?"

Sony's new camera add-on, the Eye-toy, looks like it might become a bit of a cult craze. I expect that it's going to be as popular as those pesky dance mat things (and, yes, even I have one of those) where it gets played twice, gathers dust for ages then gets brought out at parties.

Of course, the eye-toy is easier to store, being only a small camera placed on top of the tv, but the best thing is that the software that comes with it looks like it has a similar sense of humour to the fantastic Bishi-Bashi Special.

So, are you going to get one or what?

But in what way is it similar to a dance mat?

From what i've heard it's a CAMERA.

I would buy one if I had a PS2.

Hmm. Seeing as it's USB, I wonder if some clever person will develop software allowing it to be used as a Webcam on the PC.

Other than that - it's very novelty and I would get extremely bored of it very quickly.

It's a digital camera sat onto of your tele that lets you view yourself playing the games.

What exactly do they do?
