jose Chilavert scoring for an american team, it was a free kick in his own half, he ran up and managed to lob the keeper at the other end.

Maradona 1986 world cup for argentina against England, one of the best goals I have ever watched from one of the worlds best players.

This is a hard one. Beckhams halfway line maybe or (there was one in the last minute of a cup final, think it may have been crystal palace and David hopkin who scored a really good goal, Could be totally wrong but I remember the goal being superb).

Maradona's goal against England will always be the best goal ever for me. I dont think my opionion will ever be changed.
Best free kick for me, would be roberto carlos's one against france in le turnoi.
Best goal out of the blue would be nayim's (correct spelling?) against Arsenal. you u know the one?? cup winners cup final in the mid 90s.

I have always been a big fan of Marco Van Basten's Volley for Holland. I can't remeber who it was against but it was the one where he was by the by-line and he just wasted it into the roof of the net.
there are 2 goals which have stuck with me up til this day and not many goals do that
1) Roberto Carlos free kick against france - how the hell did he do that?
2) Becks halfway line goal against wimbledon - excellent vision
3) owen's run against argentina WC '98 - great solo effort and even manage to avoid not being put off by scholes almost running into him
