I'm going to have to read an issue myself soon, it's starting to sound worse than NOM.

Still not the same - the teddies had a couple of machine gun positions and the squirrel players were unarmed. When I say beach landing, I mean mortar fire, barbed wire, good guys having guns to try and fire back and preferably no time limit before some beam attack takes you out. On top of the all important machine gun implacements.
That Conker level was good, but it wasn't a proper war zone, just squirrels attempting to dodge fire and dive into a tunnel.
Again, not the same.
