I know there are a few socom threads but all the help stuff just seems to get lost.

I'm on level 10 where you have to get the guy out of prison at night.
Every time either I get the bomb to go off and disable the generator or the prison alarm goes off and soon the HIND helicopter arrives

I always get killed.
Anyone got a good way of shooting it down without me or the team all being killed?


Also others feel free to post for help in here.

u mite know this but there is a pow in the cave hidden aswell as in the pow camp

i am on level 8, how do you secure the area. I kill all the guys on the whole level and rescue the POWs etc and even clear the caves but it still saves i need to clear the area where i got the POWs from :S

and so far i haven't had help from any one except the seals (but SOCOM II : freedoms glory has you working with the SAS on some missions)

i just want to ask are any levels when there are other people like army men or someone actually helping you. this does not include your seals team.

Youre imagining things.

Just had the weirdest experience in the whole game.

On level 10 you have to rescue a guy from a prison, a helicopter comes and you must shoot it down then proceed to the pick up point which is heavily guarded.

I've played it loads of times and been killed at various points, most of the time by the helicopter or guards at the pick up point.

Well I played it there and when the helicopter came it was nowhere to be seen and there were no guards at all at the pick up point.....

Just glad that level is done, was really starting to get on my nerves.

I ran all the way through the mission when you have tracked the second lot of baddies into the jungle, I went in all gins blazing and no one came out dead on my team, with all goals completed.
