Just read in EDGE magazine, that the Gamecube sold 450,000 machines in japan on release day, compared to the PS2 that sold 900,000 machines on release day, and that was when they ran out of machines.

YEah the slow sales where party to do with release being a day after the tragedy in America, if you look at the sales figures it shows that they picked up a few days after launch.
No, Edge say that they diddnt sell out, and we all know that it was held back so hey could get the stocks up...
How dare they more than double the sales of Gamecubes ;-)
