Hi

What FTP programs are there demo or freeware that I can use to upload my web pages to my website hosted by Freeola.

I've already had Cute FTP for over a month and I can no longer use it because it is past the 30 day trial.

Sorry, my mistake, it's changed now.

In Internet Explorer, the address bar, enter on of the following:

If you have your own Domain Name:
ftp://[email protected]
-> So if your Web Address is http://www.AndyJackson
.com
-> Your FTP address would be ftp://[email protected]

If you are using one of the Freeola Addresses:
ftp://[email protected]
-> So if your Web Address is http://www.AndyJackson
.ukgamers.net
-> Your FTP address would be ftp://[email protected]
.ukgamers.net

Use FlashFXP the best FTP program i have ever used.

Just use the trusty ftp from the command prompt

Failing that I use WS_FTP!!

WOW!! I never knew that! Will that work on IE6??

CuteFTP pro!! It is really easy!

Just remember to put your files in the htdocs folder, as this is the actual online folder, and cgi-shi is where any CGI Scripts should go, but is refered to in any Script or Web Pege as cgi-bin

Just enter the FTP Address in the Address Bar, but instead of http:// put ftp://, and it will come up. So,for freeola it would be:

ftp//:FreeolaID:[email protected]

Then you can Drag and Drop files from your Machine to your Web Space.
