Nah thats not it, on that Youtbue video it starts after about nine seconds, it's sort of like a beeping noise.

It sounds familiar but i'm going to admit defeat. Look up the soundtrack on Amazon.

I've always assumed that its an original piece just for Top Gear, but I could be wrong.

I've heard it in a few other places, but you could well be right.

It sounds similar to music that has been used on BBC adverts and News so its possible just music composed for the BBC. I really don't know though.

It's in Layer Cake.
