Just started playing the game again and I just want to know why has Ruto been replaced with Laruto and the legend that was Saria been replaced by this kokiri bloke?

What happened to the original Sages? Is this a story we don't know about?

I saw them on the stain glass window in Hyrule castle.

So why is the Kokiri chick Saria replaced by this frudo bloke... sure he seems nice enough.

But I want Cel-shaded Saria dammit!

For the next Zelda they should let us write the plot.

I think Nintendo just couldn't be bothered to think up a valid scenario involving all the tribes this time.

But aren't the "other" sages under the sea?

And how are Rito's familiar to Zora's in anyway? Zora's are sea people and Rito's are air...

Goron the rock guys are merely traders in this game which is a pity... I mean what happened to them.. are they in a far away land hence them being travelling traders?

I understand the Koroks... I mean children of the Deku Tree, children of the forest... it all makes sense.

I thought the whole reason the Master Sword lost its power in the first place was because Ganondorf went into the temples and killed the previous sages, like Ruto and Saria. The fiend.

Notice how the sage replacing the kokiri boy is a korok. That's because kokiri's changed their form to that of the korok.

And see how the Zora has been replaced by a Rito. And we all know sages are in the same bloodline, hence Zora's have become the Rito.
