What happened to the original Sages? Is this a story we don't know about?
I saw them on the stain glass window in Hyrule castle.
So why is the Kokiri chick Saria replaced by this frudo bloke... sure he seems nice enough.
But I want Cel-shaded Saria dammit!
'Listen Link. You have one hour to find Ganon Ali, somewhere over the mountains to the south. He is looking to unleash a weapon of ancient evil, that will terminate all life.......NOW GO!'
Then, cut to a scene of Elisha Cuthbert (FMV this time).
In a shower.

I think Usef and Jack should be a duo of Sages sent to defeat Ganandorf's second wave attack.
And how are Rito's familiar to Zora's in anyway? Zora's are sea people and Rito's are air...
Goron the rock guys are merely traders in this game which is a pity... I mean what happened to them.. are they in a far away land hence them being travelling traders?
I NEED TO KNOW!
I understand the Koroks... I mean children of the Deku Tree, children of the forest... it all makes sense.
Because they are dead.

Notice how the sage replacing the kokiri boy is a korok. That's because kokiri's changed their form to that of the korok.
And see how the Zora has been replaced by a Rito. And we all know sages are in the same bloodline, hence Zora's have become the Rito.

Really? WOW!
Now I didn't know that.
And the fact that Saria and Ruto aren't in the Wind/Earth temple is good enough for me... perhaps I'll meet them in the next game.
