Yes it does. TS2 is far more mental but Nightfire's control and accuracy are better because of the style of multiplayer they have gone for requires it.

That was the Rare of old though. Most the Goldeneye team are now working for Free Radical, the guys behind TSP2.

Yes and no. Goldeneye's balance of accuracy and gameplay is still unbeaten by anyone except Rare. Rare rules it's corner of the FPS domain.
Halo is at the other end of the spectrum to Rare's FPS games.
TS2 Rules the 'offline arcadey shooter' corner.
Rare's precision and attention to gameplay still holds their FPS games up with the best.
