Anyway, how's things mate? I can tell you're back at uni, you're posting a lot more. :-)
I got SSX today, so give me some times or scores or whatever as targets. If I beat them, then I know I'll be on the road to becoming an average player.
:-)
> why would you want a gaycube?
Why wouldn't you? It comes with a FREE copy of YMCA, and it will be available in studded leather too in 2002!
There are also plenty of extra accessories out there for the homosexual gamer especially for the gaycube, including:
The LubeCube
It's the ultimate console for gay activity!
The postmen round my way are quick then!
I only posted it yesterday lunch time!
The reason I can't recognise my handwriting is that I did it in disguise, to add a hint of suspense and possible excitement to the mystery of receiving a strange letter.
Or something....
I believe Postman Pat returned my cheque this morning, but I'm not sure because I can't recognise my writing, and didn't have time to open it... :-)
But perhaps not, or maybe I haven't checked my Hotmail recently?
Perhaps it would be easier if I emailed myself at work? Except I don't know my work email.
I've done 3 months of this placement year already (damn it's gone fast!). I'm due to finish at the end of June, then back to Leicester in September for my final year.
You're on your second year now, aren't you?
As for SSX, I haven't done time trials, I've just got times during a race. My best for the first track is 2:35. I use Moby, is he the best for a beginner?
Also, the World Circuit thing really annoys me. I'm still only on the first track. I can win the first two rounds easily, but get to the final and they whip me completely! I'll carry playing it tonight though, so I should have it sorted by tomorrow.
I haven't done any trick attack type things yet either, as I want to open up all the tracks, so I'm concentrating on the world circuit.
Cheers for the targets though, I'll let you know how I get on.
> What is it with you popping all these old topics today!?
Just digging up a little history really. Trying to find out a little more about the people who posted here long ago. I also wanted to go back to when I first joined, to compare how I am now to how I was then. I went and took a look at how I used to post, and what kind of response I got.

Not to bad really, bit of a cold, but nothing serious. I swam for my old club this weekend, at a Speedo gala. It was excellent fun, especially as the team spirit was so good! As for uni, I`ve been back about 3 weeks now, and things are a lot harder. More work, and less time to post. Last year at uni, I was able to reach about 1200 posts in 30 days, but now it stays at about 400 ish. Numbers don`t really matter, but it does show I`m not posting quite so much. Still more than when I`m at home though!
Anyway, how about you? What you up to at the moment? How much time do you have left in your industry placement type thing? Are you back to uni for a final year?

SSX times/scores, from memory are:
Snowdream: 1 min 55
Elysium Alps: 4 min 02
Merqury City: - Can`t remember. Will check if you want.
Mesablanca: - Same.
Tokyo: 2 min 29
Aloha Strawberry Jam: 1 min 45
Pipedream score:
- My own way - 365K
- Having seen a route in PSM2 - 620K
I`m not sure on the rest of the trick scores. Mostly around about 400-500K except Snowdream and Aloha Ice Jam, which are only about 300K. Can`t remember for sure though.
i aint got the original SSX so for me this is a must have game
Do you think it would work if I swapped their characters, or is everyone accustomed to how they are now?
