See I was thinking what game I would get next. I thought Brute Force, Burnout 2, Morrowind.
But to be honest, I have probably 100's of hours worth of gaming right here unplayed.
Red Alert to finish (got it whe I renewed my SR membership)
Sim City 3000 to install and play.
Civilization: Call To Power to install and play (this game was £2.99 in EB, I had a £2.50 voucher for EB meaning that I got it for 49p, boxed brand new.)
Gangsters which I bought but never got to run. Should work now.
Starfleet Academy
Star Trek Generations
Star Trek The Next Generation: A Final Unity
Star Trek 25th Anniversary
The Lost Files Of Sherlock Holmes: Case Of The Rose Tattoo
Flying Corps
Flight Simulator 98
It was just there that it struck me how much in the way of gaming I am missing out on. I would probably have forgotten all about those games and never played them. Sure I played bits here and there of some of them, but all are uncompleted. Only downside is that I need to mess about with DOS for a couple of the Star Trek ones.
Anyone else got any of these games and wants to commetn on them?
Am I the only person to have lots of old PC games that have never been finished? If not then I suggest that instead of going out and buying
a new game just for the sake of it like I was going to with Burnout that you go and play some of the old PC classics.
There is no real point to this post I suppose.

I always quite liked Armada actually. Its not a great RTS by any measure, but still playable. I'd skip the first one though, quite buggy and Activision canned support before resolving all the issues, basically leaving a game that crashed an awful lot. The sequel had no such problems though and even the storyline was quite interesting. The modding community is fairly active too, http://www.armada2files.com/
If you're a fan of strategy, you might consider starfleet command as well. I'd only consider getting the 3rd one though, as the gameplay remains the same in all versions, the sequels were just updates really.
Theres also birth of the federation which was mildly interesting, but again, not the greatest example of its genre by a long way. :)
I always like Star Trek more than Star Wars. But Activision cancelled the license and are now suing Paramount. So I doubt there will be any more for a long time.
> So none of you have even one of those Star Trek games?
Ok! Ok! I admit it! I have all of them.
-Starfleet Academy
Never really played this much, bought it several years after it came out for 5 pound so it looked pretty jaded, and the gameplay was pretty simplistic as a I recall. Bridge Commander is a better bet these days I think.
-Star Trek Generations
I really cant emphasize enough how bad this game is. :) For me, they got the execution wrong in every respect.
-Star Trek The Next Generation: A Final Unity
I think this was the first CD based game I ever bought for the PC. Point & click adventure, not a great one but the storyline was pretty good as I remember it.
-Star Trek 25th Anniversary
This could well be the best of the bunch, don't remember much of it now given how long ago I played it, but I have fond memories of it for some reason. As with the others pretty dated by todays standards though. :)
Any one got any of the Star Trek games?
