I picked this up from an 'Indy' today.

Excellent game. Aren't quite feeling what NGC seemed to like about it quite yet, but it is pretty good fun, and also techinicly sublime.

Done the first level (gaem involves A LOT of patience) and got a proffessional rating, after my first try of 'Gun for hire' as I massacred all and sundry.

I reccommend. Now on St. Petersburg, and it looks lurvly.

By far the hardest mission to get Silent Assasin on was the one where you have to go into the Japanese Castle and eliminate the boss. I did it by rigging the Helicopter with a bomb and then you can set the alarm off on the 4th floor (if I remember correctly) he is escorted to the helicopter. Then you sneak up to his room on the top floor and watch him get in the helicopter. Wait until the helicopter reaches a set height and when you blow it up his body won't be found by the remaining guards on the ground floor.

Great fun figuring out how to get around the mission but once you get a set route its annoying every time you get discovered.

One other thing, don't worry about the last mission. There isn't a ratings system as you basically need to go all 'Jack Bauer' and go on a mass frenzy. Won't throw any spoilers in but I think you can figure out how it will go ;) Plays like the ending to Time Cop (the film with Van Damme) and you have complete access to every weapon you have unlocked in the game.

The whole Malaysian section is class.

I'm on the first Indian one, and it doesn't seem as good. Still, I only played on it for about 5 minutes.

You wait for the crazy Japanese levels, in particular the three after 'Tracking Hayamoto' (Silent Assasin rating for moi).

You nab a uniform, but they alwyas yell 'You b*stard!'. And try and kill you.

The final move on Shogun Showdown, before killing your target. Well, I haven't got a clue how to do that without resorting to my lovely SMG-SD6 or whatever its called.

Most annoying.

I think the fact that you can do each mission in different ways makes it better than splinter cell.

There are a lot of "pure class" missions on Hitman 2 yet the only level on Splinter Cell which I remember as being stunning to play was the last mission in the Presedential Palace. The rest of the missions didn't stand out as being any that "special".

The level where you have to kill the hacker - now that is pure class, the way you distract the crowd is pure skill but don't worry I won't ruin it for everyone :)

Damn this game's good, just done the dinner party level and it rocked.

Did it all stealthy up until the bit where the guy kills the ambassador and takes the brief case. I saw him legging it out the front door, so I pulled out my SMG and made suishi out of half the party guests in the crossfire.

Yeah, you have to look at that meter that tells you if ur close to being discovered. If you are in disguise but you go close to someone they see that you are not one of their parteners.

This game's good but it's but it's really annoying at the same time.

If it had some explanation of why your cover is blown then it would be much better, half the time I'm walking around slowly in disguise and people start shooting me for seemingly no reason. Very frustrating.
