I just picked this up on Sunday, what a great game, first time I have played SMB 1 or 2. Anyone up for some friendly challenges ?, or can recommend a fan site with best scores etc.

Found www.klow.net which seems to be the most popular and frequented by the great Packattack

Right, you pick 2 levels or 1 level and a minigame to compete with us on.

Note the levels/game in here and record your highest score on them so far.

At the moment these are the levels/games that are in the competition.

Monkey Target items off 6 rounds 1 ball.
Monkey Target items off 6 rounds 5 balls.
Freefall. (Its in the adventure park themed world)
World 10 level 1.

Right, sounds simple enough. Only now the TV's been taken over.

1192 on my first go on Target (6 rounds, 1 ball, items off).

My first go on bowling got me a score of 170 as well.

I have no idea if these are good or bad.

Was this on Normal rules etc? My top score so far on bowling is only 168.

Well, it wasn't my first go altogether, but my first go on normal rules. I had a go on some crazy thing with a moving alley before that.

I just got loads of spares followed by a strike, and on the tenth go I got a spare and a strike. If I could get loads of strikes instead of spares...

6 rounds 1 ball: 2310
6 rounds 5 balls: 4522

Might not be correct, I'll check later.

Sorry I've not been around for these SMB2 challenges (after suggesting them) but I've lent me 'Cube to my brother who's broken his foot :( so as Arnie said, "I'll be back" - for the August ones.
