I'm a big fan of martial arts moives {www.adamcook6.ninjas.co.uk/Vids.html} and i've got quite a few Jackie Chan ones.

I was wondering which Jackie Chan film was everyone favourite.

I think i'd have to say Drunken Master because it's just really good! Some say that Drunken Master 2 is better but I haven't managed to see that one yet so I can't comment.

Both Rush Hours are amazing, as is Shanghai Noon. Quality action/comedy. Go Chan, die Lee ;-) Sorry Ross.

I REALLY want to see Snake In The Eagle's Shadow! One of 2 Jackie Chan films I really wanna see. The other being Drunken Master 2. As for Jet Li films. I've got some of them, the best being The Shaolin Temple because that is REALLLY good!

I loved the drunken Master, seen both dubbed and subtitled but the dubbed version gets my vote for all its comical value: "you're kung fu is no good!".
But if you like that sort of think check out some of Jet Li old stuff like fun su yak 1 and 2, both brillient films.

Drunken Master is better than the second one!
My personal favourite is "Snake in the Eagles Shadow". The choreography is probably better in Drunken Master, but there's something about the vibe of Snake in the Eagles shadow that wins me over. Perhaps its the crazy preacher or the silly training methods?

Having said that, the characters, cast, crew and even the sets are almost identical in Drunken Master and Snake in the Eagles shadow. Yuen Woo Ping choreagraphed them both and they're both superb because of it.

A fabulous and rare Jacki Chan film, that I'd advise anyone to watch is "Dragon Fist". Its quite hard to find, but well worth watching. In this, Jacki performs absolutely know humour. The whole film is taken very seriously. Its all about betrayal, vengence, and regret. It even had interesting plot twists (something that isn't really seen in the Kung-Fu genre).
Jacki's done films with slightly more serious over-tones in the past (Shaolin Chamber of Death) but they usually had some light relief comical element in them, however small. Dragon Fist has nothing of the sort. Its very strange to see Jacki taking such a serious storyline on. The choreography is pretty fine too (especially when Jacki and an old one legged man are fighting alongside one another).

But overall for me, it's Snake in the Eagles Shadow. I think that was the first Jacki Chan film I saw, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Personally I prefer Bruce Lee but I'm still a great fan of Jackie Chan.

I love Rush Hour but I can't really remember any of the names of his films.

Still, I've got Police Story coming in the post. If it's the one I think it is then it's the best one.
