As for me I really treat it differently, this days I dont play on it that much obviusly because the PS2 is backward compatible. Though since the Ps2 cannot hold an Xplorer cartridge I use my PSX for games that I need to cheat on.

The reason I didnt sell it was because the time I had wanted to do this the PSone had already launched and so it would have been bought for a very low price. Now its getting very dusty on top of a huge cupboard.

So what's your story on what has become of your PSX now that you have a PS2?

Actually you mean PS1 not PSX. PSX actually is used by another company and really has nothing to do with the playstation.

One reason I dont play my ps2 is that i have only one tv and so it really feels like a pain to keep on connecting it up and disconneting it.

Thats a bit like how i treat my PS2 now and how I used to treat my psx, though I gotta say that I dont give my PSX as much love as I used to before I got a ps2.

I have learnd from my mistakes now though, i treat my PS2 like it was my...my...child. I make sure its stable on my desk all the time, not too near the front to fall off etc. I was going to buy a stand, but i dont trust them, mine will end up falling over!

My lived very differently to yours Pro Evo, I used to treat it like some very delicate thing though it is covered with a lot of dust.

My PS1 lasted a long time, and survived through many drops and being stepped on many times. I was pleased with it, but sad to see it go.

However now im stuck with a useless explorer cheats card to go in the back.
