I dont see that happening. Microsoft will hit them hard legally before that happens. No one would use it if it wasnt secure.
Apparently this hack will allow Live to be hacked eventually!
It will be interesting to see what the legal consequences of these actions are for Free-X and Microsoft.
Will the Australian courts side with Microsoft or will Microsoft win on blackmail charges? In any event these programmers probably have next to no money so theyll only get bankrupt by Microsoft.

Im not sure how it will effect Xbox Live there is a lively conversation going on over at the xbox.com forums.
Basically it will allow Linux and third party sofware like emulators and media players to run on the xbox.

Its pretty interesting, makes you wonder what Microsoft will do.
