All due to respect for you hardcore gamers out there, I know how it feels to be to the limit of being obsessed with something... me with music these days.
Anyway I've never been anything like a lot of you. I got an Atari when I was young and played games that cost £2 at " The Barras" (big crap market in Glasgow)... mainly just Sensible Soccer and only because it was raining and I was bored.
Same story since then... got a Game Gear, loved that, could take it anywhere that was boring and show off to mates. Same with PC and Playstation.
To me gaming is just an anti-boring machine and also few other things. It breaks my heart to buy a game at £30 when I know I could get three music albums for the same price and honestly get a lot more pleasure out them. So as I've got far too much on at present I don't play games a lot.
Anyway repeating myself as usual... Gaming I also feel is a great way to pass time with mates. Just fight it out on screen and great just to get through a day, its also a damn fine way to break ice with the opposite sex.
Anyway as I'm saying... as I come on here as often as I do I constantly see...
" sony r the best "
" The Gamecube has a new colour "
" Eat lead Ninties, look at this bad boy of a game "
When really to tell you the truth I don't give a damn. Just give me a reasonably priced console and games and let me pass time... yes graphics are nice but I want something that will last me for years and I enjoy.
I don't care about spec, colour, company, date releases so why don't you all (in a nice way) just shut the hell up about this bollards and just enjoy the damn things and be happy there are lots of variety of things in this day and age and also thst your sitting in a nice room, comfortable chair, music on and playing a game...
There are a lot more terrible things in the world than the fact that the Gamecube comes in purple.
Wise up.
Thanks :-)
whereas the rest have to get second hands or cough up a stupid amount of money.

It's my hobby after all, so I do get a little leway in buying the things, although it's getting harder to justify without getting rid of older consoles.
