Hogs of War.
Ahhhh ....
*Hazy-screen flashback*
Lovely.

The original Worms on PS1 had little 3D cut-scenes of them while it was loading - you're probably remebering those. Ever since seeing them I've longed for a 3D Worms.

Yeah, when they said in last month's issue there would be a Top Gift, I thought it could be none other than an E3 DVD, but instead, it was a Hitman 2 walkthrough. Ah well.

I got my issue on Saturday, too! :P

I have to admit that I'm surprised to see the new Judge Dread game sounding like it could be so-good... But that's probably down to the fact that it WON'T be based on the awful film, and instead will be like part of the 'classic' cartoon comic-strip series - like "real" Judge Dredd.

And I know it's a standard, run-of-the-mill first-person shooter, but, to me, it looks quite a bit like `Metroid Prime´, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the finished version resembling Retro's masterpiece in many-ways.

Still, it really could be the next-best-thing to ``Metroid Prime 2´´...!

The Simspons: Hit and Run is also looking like it may actually be a DECENT and, at least, 'half-original' yellow-people-themed game...
Being able to go ANYWHERE in Sprigfield and do things like rob the Kwik-E-Mart could be enough to convince me to buy this game when it comes around ...If it's even half-decent.

I like the look of Sphinx, too, and I really want to see 'more' on this game... But, after realising that Eurocom - who I believe have done the Bond games for EA - are behind this one, I'm beggining to have my doubts... :S

Glad to see `Beyond Good and Evil´ looking better than I could've ever thouht it would be, and that a fully-3-dimensional Worms game is on-the-way, too. :)

...And even Big Mutha Truckers sound like it 'could' be a good game...! :o

Another good issue, though.
Shame about the free gift - Where's the E3 DVD??

No.

Hogs of War was alright but you couldn't blow up the scenery... you can in Worms 3D. Because of which you couldn't make any defensive turns meaning that it was merley a matter of who messed up first in multi-player on the condition both players know the most effective weapon.
