Quick question, i've been playing the SNES version of Harvest Moon for the last couple of days and warra good game it is. Anyway I was wondering if anyone's played it and if they know how to cut up the tree stumps and smash the big rocks?
It says just keep hitting it in the same spot with the axe or hammer, but I stand there and hit them till i'm blue in the face but still no luck. Anyone help me pleeeeeeaaaaasseeeeeee.

Just keep hitting the stumps with the axe, and use the mallet on the rocks. Just keep hitting them! Shouldn't take that long. I think you get upgrades to your weapons from certain places. If you find the happy little elves, {there's a secret passage in a log down the bottom right of your field} they upgrade one of your tools. I think some villager guy in the top town upgrades one of your tools to, if you go talk to him.

AFAIR you just keep hitting them... check out www.gamefaqs.com and see what they have to say.
